Walking Holidays – Booking Conditions

HOW TO BOOK
Please contact us with details of your planned holiday and dates you would like to travel

PAYMENT
All payments must be made in pounds sterling.
A deposit of £75.00 per person is required on booking. (This is required to confirm accommodation booking deposits).
The balance of payment is required 6 weeks before the start of your walking holiday. (The date will be given on your holiday confirmation).
If final payment is not made by this date then we may have to cancel your booking.
All cheques to be made payable to Freedom Walking Holidays.

CANCELLATIONS
If you have to cancel your holiday before the start of your walk, the following charges will be made depending on the notice received:
More than 6 weeks – only the deposit is retained
6-4 weeks – 35% is retained.
4-2 weeks – 50% is retained.
2 weeks – 2 days – 75% is retained.
Less than 2 days – 100% is retained.
There will be no refund given if you cut short your holiday once it has started.

INSURANCE
A copy of your insurance cover will be sent to you on receipt of your deposit. Unfortunately we cannot provide insurance for non-British residents.

FITNESS AND HEALTH
To enjoy your walking holiday good health and fitness are essential. If you suffer from a medical condition we will require a doctor’s certificate agreeing to you undertaking any of the walks.
